A Sample survey means assessing a situation by studying a part of it which would represent the whole, some of his proposals were included in the second five year paln. His original work made him elected as fellow of the Royal society in 1945.
5/22/1940	Erapalli Anantrao Srinivasarao Prasanna, cricketer (one of India's big four spinners, Right-arm Off-break Bowler), was born at Bangalore. He is also the receipent of Arjun Award (1968) and Padmashree (1970).
