Historical Event on 12/6/1995
The Sixth Army Ordnance Corps Reunion and Silver Jubilee of Colour Presentation was celebrated at AOC Centre with pomp and splendour, fun and gaiety and professionalism of high order. The highlights included para-dropping, AOC Kangla Tongbi, Sonet-lumiere sound and light show, Central Parade and Yaadgar Parade.

12/6/1995	Akbar's Vajir-E-Ajam 'Bairam Khan' was assassinated at Patan, Gujarat by an Afghan assassin Mubarak Khan Lohani ( whose father was slain by Bairam Khan) in the battle of Machiwara.
5/12/1995	India refused to sign NPT in its present discriminatory form.
10/10/1937	Anant Bhave, famous Marathi litterateur and news announcer on Doordarshan, was born.
12/11/1987	Rajiv Government defeats the first ever no-confidence motion.
11/17/1932	The Third Round Table Conference began in London. It was not attended by the Congress as the real Indian participation in the making of the constitution was negligible. Since Gandhi was in prison because of his civil disobedience movement he could not attend it either. This conference ended on 24th November 1932 without achieving anything.
4/13/1963	Babu Gulab Rai, famous hindi critic, passed away.
7/25/1991	Dr. V. K. R. V. Rao, famous economist and former central minister, passed away.
1/26/1930	Mahatma Gandhi started the Dandi march to protest against the Salt Act of the British and the same day Indians swore to get 'Total' Swaraj and organised the day as Swaraj Day.
5/18/1974	Jayaprakash Narayan led a procession against economic conditions in Patna. There was lathi charged and he issued a call for total revolution. He also started the 'Citizens for Democracy' movement.
10/26/1891	Padmabhushan Vaikunthbhai Mehta, famous Gandhian leader, was born.
